Happy Holidays from the Cutest Two Year Old on Earth

Holiday giggles and yuletide glee have taken over my home. We’re baking sugar cookies, tracking Santa on Norad and wrapping presents madly.

(Sidebar: My dilemma. My 5 year old’s “Santa” presents are being wrapped in same paper as everyone other’s presents. Will he notice? Will he pick out my handwriting, already? The stress of making sure he believes has even surfaced in my dreams: last night I dreamt I forgot to put out all the presents and T. woke up to find that Santa NEVER came…)

But back to the fun. We’ve got cookies and loaves of bread to make for family and Christmas lights to scout tonight and “Twas the Night before Christmas” to recite. It’s really such a wonderful time.

So as my gift to you, I am sharing with you something quite precious: the cutest two year old in the world singing his favorite Christmas carols.

To all of my readers, whatever your holiday, may you have a wonderful celebration filled with family, tradition and joy.

  1. He is aDORable!

    Merry Christmas!

  2. What a cutie! He looks so happy and full of holiday cheer! I love Christmas!

  3. I love how he rocks those songs!

BTW, I used special Santa-only paper for the boys’ Santa presents. It’s paper that’s totally different than the rest of the stuff under the tree. I also wrote all the gift tags with my left hand and even changed up my handwriting. I figure each elf has different writing, and who’s to say only one elf did all the work for our family?! Am I overthinking things here? I’m hanging on to every shred of potentially our last Believing in Santa Christmas.

  4. Ilinap – You rock changing it up like that. Most of my stuff is wrapped already. Damn. Heres hoping hes just so blinded by WANTING to believe he just won’t let himself notice (as he tracks Santa madly over my shoulder on NORAD).

  5. We use “Santa” wrapping paper too, and don’t put those gifts out until after bedtime on Christmas Eve. Santa also fills the stockings around here.

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

  6. Love the carols. Happy and merry to you all!

  7. Your Hot SIL (not Meryl, you doofus)

Dude. Does your husband have no memory? Santa doesn’t wrap, he just parks the presents under the tree.

And, when certain mommies have a font-collecting habit, he also leaves printed nametags on the stuff.

I can’t believe he’s just 5 months older than my lil one! Ours won’t even say his name. He loves the dog’s name, though!

    Good job C!
